SPRINGS BROOK PARK SUMMER EMPLOYMENT
LIFEGUARDS and SWIM INSTRUCTORS (minimum age: 16 as of June 11, 2010). Must have current Lifeguard Training, CPR, and/or Water Safety Instructor certification. Hourly rates start at $9.44 and are based on experience. Applications avail. @Rec. Office or online. Will accept applications until all positions are filled. Open to Bedford and nonresidents.

Classes for Lifeguard Training and WSI (Swim lesson instructor training) are held at local facilities during Feb. and April vacation weeks and other times over the Winter/Spring. Check out the website for details. Sign up for classes soon!!
Lifeguard Training: minimum age 15. Must pass swim test. Total hours 28.5
WSI: minimum age 16 by course completion. Must pass swim test. Total hours 30

Recreation Assistant Director
CREW POSITIONS: Open to Bedford residents only
PARK ATTENDANTS (min. age: 14 by June 11, 2010) Attendants are needed for gate, maintenance, and swim lesson aide positions. Very flexible schedules are available.
CONCESSION STAFF (min. age: 15 by June 11, 2010)
GROUNDS MAINTENANCE (min. age: 14 by June 11, 2010) Responsible for landscaping, grounds and facility maintenance.
Applications avail. @Rec. Office or online. Application deadline: May 6. May apply for more than one position. Please specify on application position/s interest.
SWIM LESSON AIDE (min. age. 14 by June 11, 2010) Assist with swim lesson supervision and monitor water slide/spray park.
