The Planning Board is an elected, five member board established under the provisions of MGL. Ch. 41 § 81 A. The Planning Board is responsible for administering the Subdivision Control Law, reviewing commercial development site plans, drafting Zoning Bylaw revisions, undertaking planning studies within the Town, revising and updating the Town's Comprehensive Plan, approving special permits for residential cluster developments and planned residential developments and holding public hearings for designated scenic roads if trees and/or stone walls are to be removed or changed.
