8.3 Purpose
The Authority shall provide affordable, subsidized rental housing for people of low income.
8.4 Responsibilities
The Authority shall administer various state sponsored programs, such as those provided in M.G.L. Ch 121B §§38-40 (Elderly and Handicapped Housing) and M.G.L. Ch 121B §§34-37(Veterans/Family Housing). Other responsibilities include the administration of various rental assistance programs.
